Hello group! How are you?
E, daí meus queridos. Fácil os verbos irregulares, não?
Sempre deem uma olhada na aula anterior antes de fazer os exercícios pois a aula de hoje é continuação da última.
Semana passada vimos os verbos irregulares no passado. Lembrando que são Verbos Irregulares porque eles têm sua forma passada própria. Exemplo: Yesterday I ate a delicious barbecue. (eat) (Ontem eu comi um churrasco delicioso).

My sister drove a car. (drive) –(My irmã dirigiu um carro)
Passei uma tabela de verbos para vocês. Vocês tem que usá-la para fazer os exercícios abaixo.
Fill in the gaps with the right form of the verbs in brackets.(Preencha a frase com os verbos que estão entre parênteses)- use a lista da semana passada.

1.  Daisy   (bring) some chocolates to the birthday party.

2. I   (hear) a new song (canção) on the radio.

3.  Peter   (buy) three books last week (semana passada).

SIMPLE PAST TENSE –NEGATIVE

Na forma negativa usa-se o verbo auxiliar didn’t (did + not) e o verbo principal fica no infinitivo,

ou seja, igual a regra dos verbos regulares. Veja os exemplos:

NEGATIVE FORM

SUJEITO	NEGAÇÃO VERBO AUXILIAR	VERBO + COMPLEMENTO
I (eu)	didn’t	go shopping.
You(você)	didn’t	go shopping.
He (ele)	didn’t	go shopping.
She (ela)	didn’t	go shopping.
It (ele/ela)	didn’t	go shopping.
We (nós)	didn’t	go shopping.
You (vocês)	didn’t	go shopping.
They (eles/elas)	didn’t	go shopping.

Ex.: I           didn’t                     go shopping.             Tradução:  (Eu não fiz compras)                                

-A forma abreviada do did not é didn’t, e significa não.
-Quando falamos, costumamos abreviar tudo.
-Quando você usar o verbo auxiliar didn’t no passado, o verbo principal volta para sua forma 

original (infinitivo).

Vamos praticar! Use a lista de verbos da aula anterior.

   Tom  didn’t write a letter. (Tom não escreveu uma carta)

b)They became friends last year. (Eles se tornaram amigos no ano passado).                      

    They didn’t become friends last year. (Eles não se tornaram amigos no ano passado)

9. We went (fomos) to Porto Algre. -  We _________________________________ to Porto Alegre.
10. The Smiths built (construiram) a big house. -  The Smiths __________________________a big house.
11. My neighbors (vizinhos) bought  (compraram) a new PC. -  They ____________________a new PC.
12. Richard got (ganhou) a new cell phone. -  Richard ____________________________a new cellphone.
